The following rules are to be followed by all TFO members without exception. This Code is in place for the benefit of the entire team, and violations of it shall be dealt with, swiftly and severely.
The Final Option Code of Conduct
- Any means implemented to gain an unfair advantage over an opponent is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of modified files, hacks, cheats, glitches, etc.
Members suspected of violating this rule will be placed on immediate suspension, and lose access to all team sites, servers, and functions.
Proven violators will be removed from the team immediately and permanently.
- Be courteous to all members of the gaming community. Your tag will identify you as a TFO member, and as such you reflect the attitude of the entire team.
- The unauthorized access to any person's forum, email account, icq account, or any other personal information is strictly prohibited.
Proven violators of this rule will be removed from the TFO roster immediately.
- TFO prides itself on the bond of friendship between it's members. As such, no TFO member shall compete with another team. No member shall wear another teams tags. No member shall compete on a ladder, unsanctioned by TFO.
Any member found to be in violation of this rule will be removed from the team.
- Members in control of the TFO servers will treat visiting players courteously and fairly. Ejecting or banning players from the servers shall only be done under extreme conditions. You should be prepared to explain your actions if you eject/kick or ban another player.
- No TFO member will publicly post, email, or message another player in a derogatory manner. Again, your actions reflect the values of the entire team.
- No member shall infringe upon another member in any manner which may cause distress, or cause an uncomfortable situation whether online or in real life. Complaints to this regard may be grounds for dismissal from the team.
Bottom line folks, it's about more than the game. It's about friendship.
This Code may be edited or expanded upon without notice.
Please check back periodically for changes. Professed ignorance of this Code will not be accepted as reason for violations.
Thank You.
